(a) With Listed Institutes:

Academia Nexus Pakistan - Data Isolation & Subdomain Safety

1. Independent Data Controllers

When an institute builds a website on an academia.pk subdomain, they may deploy their own student registration forms, fee collection tools, or portal logins.
For these specific subdomains, the respective educational institute acts as the primary Data Controller, while academia.pk acts as the Data Processor.

2. Security of Subdomain Databases

(a) While we secure the master servers with SSL encryption and modern firewalls, the individual institutes are responsible for safely managing the student/parent login credentials generated on their subdomains.
(b) Academia.pk reserves the right to suspend any subdomain immediately if it is found to have weak security protocols that expose student data to cyber threats or hackers.
